The U.S. Senate approved an amendment yesterday to get rid of the requirement in Obamacare to have businesses fill out a 1099 tax form for every purchase they make over $600. The vote was 81-17. The following 17 Senators either don't understand how tax regulation and mandates stifle business efficiency or really do want the federal government tracking every significant purchase a business makes in this country:
Akaka (D-HI) Carper (D-DE) Durbin (D-IL) Franken (D-MN) Gillibrand (D-NY) Harkin (D-IA) | Inouye (D-HI) Lautenberg (D-NJ) Leahy (D-VT) Levin (D-MI) Mikulski (D-MD) Murray (D-WA) | Reed (D-RI) Reid (D-NV) Sanders (I-VT) Schumer (D-NY) Whitehouse (D-RI) |
