Either Economically Ililterate or Hell-Bent on Absolute Control

The U.S. Senate approved an amendment yesterday to get rid of the requirement in Obamacare to have businesses fill out a 1099 tax form for every purchase they make over $600.  The vote was 81-17.  The following 17 Senators either don't understand how tax regulation and mandates stifle business efficiency or really do want the federal government tracking every significant purchase a business makes in this country:

Akaka (D-HI)
Carper (D-DE)
Durbin (D-IL)
Franken (D-MN)
Gillibrand (D-NY)
Harkin (D-IA)
